Peaches is a modern lifestyle platform and mobile app for finding platonic companions for an hour or a day. The service reimagines the "rent-a-friend" concept, adapting it to the pace of modern metropolises. The platform connects people who need company for an event, shopping, content creation, or simply a safe space for an honest, judgment-free conversation. The project encompasses a client app, a companion interface, and an internal moderation panel. In the context of growing social isolation and hustle culture, it is becoming increasingly difficult for people to find time to maintain friendships. The existing market offers either dating apps (which imply a romantic subtext and repel the audience seeking pure companionship) or niche forums with zero safety measures.

Designed a transparent and trustworthy ecosystem where safety and empathy are embedded at the interface architecture level. The product deliberately abandons dating app visual patterns in favor of a clean, calm aesthetic that communicates reliability. Architecture of Trust: Developed a seamless onboarding and strict verification (KYC) flow for both clients and companions, which critically reduced anxiety levels prior to the first meeting. Transparent Matching System: Implemented a companion profile card with a clear tagging system (meeting format, allowed/prohibited topics, communication style) and predefined scenarios (e.g., "silent companion," "active listener," "plus-one for an event"). Expectation Management: Created an intuitive booking flow with a mandatory step to agree on meeting boundaries prior to payment, minimizing user frustration and last-minute cancellations. Design System: Built a scalable UI library with a strong emphasis on typography and whitespace. This creates the feel of a premium yet accessible service where the focus remains on human connection rather than the transaction.
