When Glidewell opened for business as a dental lab in January 1970, its customer base could be counted on one hand and its workforce could be counted on the other. The company’s design and manufacturing protocols, while state-of-the-art for their time, were still highly analog and labor-intensive. Today, over 4,300 Glidewell professionals design and manufacture crowns, bridges, dentures, implants and more for dentists around the globe. The Result
The final solution streamlines the lifecycle of a dental restoration. By centralizing 3D assets, manufacturing notes, and case history, we reduced the cognitive load on lab technicians and minimized production errors, resulting in a faster, more reliable "digital-to-physical" workflow.
